Sioux City Ford Lincoln was established in 2004 when the Rydell Company purchased Team Ford. The Rydell Company was started by Leonard Rydell in 1946 in Grand Forks, ND. Leonard had a passion for developing people and soon began purchasing Dealerships so that he could place talented people at the helm and allow them to set aside some of their work effort as "equity" in the dealerships. Many of those talented personnel were then allowed to purchase their location using that equity and become independent businessmen and women. There are over 85 such Dealerships in the United States at this time.
Chad Murray is our very own success story and is now the sole owner of Sioux City Ford Lincoln, completing his purchase of the Dealership in late 2025 and now employs nearly 100 people between the Dealership and ABRA Auto Body of Sioux City.
